Be sure to disconnect power before removing bake element. Do not allow wiring to fall back into appliance. Inspect terminals and wiring to bake element.

Appearance of Defective Part:

Bake element may appear bubbled, burnt or broken into several pieces. The element may also look completely fine.

How to Test this Part:

This part is most easily tested with an ohm meter and should have an approximate ohm value of 10-40 ohms.
